What Makes Us Different?

REINCARNATION promises to operate professionally and to create profitable partnerships that make it easy and fun to do business with us.

Most importantly, REINCARNATION wants you to feel comfortable here and enjoy the company of other shoppers. People who come in here say they’ve never seen a second-hand shop quite like this. We want it to be different and fun.

REINCARNATION is the PREMIERE place for both consignors and shoppers ~ simply by providing top-notch customer service,  combined with a comfortable shopping experience and GREAT DEALS.

Our consignors benefit from knowledgeable pricing and creatively diverse marketing.

Our customers benefit from a wide selection of unique, name-brand, and one-of-a-kind merchandise, all at reasonable prices.

Our merchandise is campy, trashy, chic or designer — but always impeccably selected. We've enticed many of our customers already with fabulous front window displays.

We'll help you create your individual style, choosing from an awesome variety of name brands, sizes and trends in clothes and household goods.

REINCARNATION has "working assets," by giving back to the community in which it operates.

A portion of the store's monthly net profits go to a different local charity each month and both shoppers and consignors have a say  as to which local charity gets this donation.

What three independently owned businesses would you miss if they disappeared?
Stop in, Say hello, Pick up and purchase something that makes you smile. Your purchases are what keeps their doors open.

If half of the employed population spent $50 per month in LOCALLY OWNED/INDEPENDENT businesses, it would generate more than 42.6 billion dollars in revenue. Imagine if 3/4 of this population did the same.

For every $100 spent in locally owned/independent businesses, $68 returns to the community in the form of taxes, payroll and other expenditures. Spend that at a national chain and only $43 stays in the community. Purchase on-line and $0 stays in the community.

The number of people it takes to start a new trend - ONE - YOU!

Recycle - Reuse - Reincarnate!

"The Queen of Consignment!"

Adopt a way of life that's simultaneously conservatory and decadent!!!!!!

You've probably heard of the three Rs for a cleaner environment: Reducing our impact, Reusing what we can, and Recycling waste.

But have you heard of the two S's?

SECOND-HAND SHOPPING!!!

Mother Nature always appreciates any attempt to go green—be it efficient water usage, smarter electricity practices, or shopping second-hand.

  THE STORY OF STUFF

Resale shopping is not just for ‘people in need anymore’,” she says. “It’s for everyone!

Consignment stores have been around for decades, and quite possibly remain one of the best kept secrets when it comes to high-end designer bargain hunting.

These days, when going green is becoming wildly popular, its easy to be ecologically AND economically frugal .  .  .shopping second-hand is a FABULOUS way to recycle, reuse and REINCARNATE,

Show your commitment to using fewer resources and reducing your carbon footprint all while saving money!

Today, GREEN is the new black!

By shopping consignment, you are also contributing to a healthier, self-sustaining local economy by keeping your  money "in house. You're recycling goods that don't have to be reproduced (no chemicals in the water to dye cotton, and no extra trees cut down and turned into pulp for new books or stationary or furniture, etc.); and if you're a consignor, you'll bring in a couple extra dollars that can be applied to your phone or grocery or gas bills.

Affordability is a huge draw for our customers, “With the economy as it is, people want to watch their dollar, irregardless of if they have to or not.

Americans are noticing their consumption and want to reduce what they use and simplify their lifestyle; [consignment] is a great way to do that.” Being able to pay $8 for a name-brand polo as opposed to $70, or spending a mere $20 for a two-piece designer combo, is always a plus.

Britt Beemer, chairman of America's Research Group, a consumer behavior survey research company based in Charleston, S.C. states,

"Five percent of American households reported buying something from a consignment store during the previous two months." Beemer arrived at these numbers from a recent survey.

"That's up from about 3.5 percent in the summer of 2008," Beemer said, adding that he expects the number to reach as high as 9 percent by the end of 2009.

And also, this rise in secondhand shopping may mean that 2009 fashion will be dubbed “Recession Fashion,” a bit thriftier than in past years. Some speculate this will yield a bolder, more audacious style.

60 million Americans can't be wrong!
A vast and growing number of Americans have become devotees of the secondhand market, if not outright fanatics.

Are YOU Going to be a

RECESSIONISTA

this year?
