A Bra-Tabulous Soiree It Will Be!

Rutland, VT., This bra’s for you . . . . The Pink Ribbon Butterfly Project, LTD. is putting an “out-of-the-ordinary” call for Vermont artists. Its "Creative Cups" Patrol (Board of Directors) is in search of decorated brassieres that will be displayed and auctioned off in the spring of 2012. This “bra bonanza” is for a good cause: all proceeds will benefit the The Pink Ribbon Butterfly Project’s activities.

"It's a really kind of a light-hearted  & fun way to celebrate those who have survived breast cancer and/or those who have dealt with breast cancer – which is common thread with the work that we do at the PRBP  and at the same time, it will raise funds for our program," said Chief Imagination Officer, Traci Pena.

The PRBP's entire mission & work is built around the idea that breast cancer patients should giggle & gaffaw everyday and have love and laughter at their disposal - to assist in their healing journey and promote a change in their perspective. Science has proven that laughter and a change in perspective can greatly improve health and quality of life.

A  “Creative Cups” submission can be crafted by any professional, emerging, or hobbyist artist, from anywhere in Vermont. Each should come with a short story: a dedication to someone dealing with breast cancer or a description of the artist's inspiration.  The sky is the limit and you are only limited to your imagination!

All of the decorated bras will be publically displayed in the Spring of 2012 and the Bra Patrol’s favorite 15 will be showcased in a fashion show, as well as, made into postcards that will be available for purchase, also in the Spring of 2012 and then traveled about the US on the PINKSTER Tour!
