While personal and planetary transformation are cool, I also believe deeply in the joy, fun and giggles in life. The truth is, nothing... is so liberating as laughter. And when it comes to rising above whatever is bringing us down, nothing works better than levity.

Laughter, used as a Positive Activity Intervention (PAI) has the potential to benefit depressed individuals (and/or anyone) who don’t respond to pharmacotherapy or are not able or willing to obtain treatment, is less expensive to administer, is relatively less time-consuming and promises to yield rapid improvement of mood symptoms, holds little to no stigma, and carries no side effects.

Laughter-Cize is a deceptively simple yet very powerful and potentially even life-changing form of exercise that almost anybody can do, anytime, anywhere. Its core premise is that your body can and knows how to laugh, regardless of what your mind has to say about it.

 

In short: Laughter-Cize is a body-mind approach to laughter, not something mind-body. The distinction is very important. No sense of humor is needed, in fact, its about laughing for NO particular reason. know jokes or even be happy or feel good.

 

Laughter-Cize invites you to "fake it" until you make it. Thinking can dramatically sabotage you by forcing you back into the box of your own inhibitions and limitations. You cannot think while you're laughing . . .so if you need a break or mini vacation,  just LAUGH and treat yourself to a LAUGHTER RETREAT!
